Ingredients:
100g plain flour
Pinch of salt
1 egg
300 ml milk
1 tablsp. melted butter or sunflower oil
Steps:
- Place in a bowl flour and salt and make a hole in the center.
- Add the egg into the hole plus the melted butter and half of the milk.
- Stir until it melted, then add the other half milk and stir.
- Heat a small heavy-based frying until it is very hot and then turn the heat down to medium.
- Add a tea spoon of butter in the pan.
- Place a scoop of the mixture in the pan and cook on a medium heat for 1-2 minutes or until the batter looks dry on the top and begins to brown at the edges.
- Flip the pancake over with a palette knife and cook the other side.
